I'm now convinced that it's BryanBoy. The filo fashion blogger who Marc Jacobs designed a bag after. I was at my friend's gig and a mate pointed out the guy in heels. At first I was like "wtf" then I realised that this dude walked with such ease and attitude it was hot! His whole appearance worked really well. No doubt I was impressed. Bryanboy is in town (so I found out just minutes ago upon visiting his site) andI believe it was him at the gig. I need confirmation!

vomit vomit poo poo

Today was very unproductive for me. I was going to type up my unit of work on maths for my gr. 5s but decided not to because I won't be at school tomorrow. It's what happens when I believe that I can overcome this sickness in a day and go out partying. It doesn't work like that. end up worse and voiceless. Not cool. Oh well.

Today I-

• acted as driving instructor for brother to collect lunch and dinner. We couldn't be stuffed cooking.
• watched Ghosts of Girlfriends past and cried. LOL.
• slept after watching the movie and had the most whack dream. I had a dream that I yawned and my jaw was locked in place and everytime I tried to unlock it by closing my mouth it would feel like it would shatter. I remember it hurting. Also, somebody tried to be 'in a relationship' with me on fb. HAHA.
  
• was on the computer for the whole evening. Sad.

Overall, boring. I could have read my books but I got incredibly lazy. I could have gone to Ikea, Dali's exhibition and to see my dad and grandmother but nooo stupid sickness delayed me even more. sigh. After about the billionth call today, my voice barely above a whisper, my dad asks if I'm sick. haha.

Simplement magnifique. Amazing. Sexy. Hot. Dazzling. lol. I could go on and on and on but it was one spectacular show. My friend and I sat there with big smiles on our faces from the moment it started. We're watching it again. haha.
I still can't believe I did not watch it in New York City because I felt guilty for not watching it with my friend. You can't call me a bad friend. He half doesn't believe me that I didn't watch it because of him. ASK CHRISTINA. SHE WAS WITH ME. SHE WAS ASKING ME IF I WAS SURE. sigh. I'm a damn good friend. lol.
p.s. i want to watch Jersey Boys. anyone down??

BANDS
Saw a few mates of mine who are in bands over the weekend. Very talented they are. They are known as Left feels Right (I've been to nearly all their gigs, I'm such a fan lol) and The Analyte. Check 'em out ;)
One of my best lady friends made us a mixtape that's a soundtrack to her life and I have fallen in love with music all over again. I've been in this slump and have been listening to radio songs (that's good for a boogie) and haven't been listening to things that make me giggle and smile (helloo laura marling and lykke li *lol*)
Also another best mate of mine gave me a Jason Mraz live acoustic (minus the screaming fans *yay*) c.d. Mr. A-Z makes me swooooooooooooon! *heart flutter*

MOVIES
District 9. Thumbs up. Thumbs down to the dude who asked how i was during the movie. Shut the ef up and watch the damn movie. lol.
Coco Avant Chanel. Still have not seen it. Sigh.
The September Issue. I want to watch it now now now!
Drag me to hell. I liked it a lot! I know it looks stupid BUT i really enjoyed the old school cinematography.

When I read, I tend to read a few books at a time. Currently, I'm reading through the following:

IKEA

I love ikea! Their new catalogue makes me swoon. lol. My friend and I are planning to spend an ENTIRE day there on Sat. Oh, bliss. Who would have thought furniture would make me happy?

Kid talk

Today we worked on fractions (I can hear your nonverbal utterances of dislike). They had to come up with their own fraction and show us, using a thinkboard (looks like a Y chart), what that fraction looks like (draw), feels like (make it as well as convert to % and 0.00) and sounds like (story). This was one story-

STORY FOR 2/12

If I accidentally shot two people out of twelve, that fraction is 2/12.

DRAWING

Twelve circles, 2 circles had faces on it and were crossed out.

I was a little worried but then I looked at the back of his sheet and he had drawn a peace symbol with the word HIPPIE above it.
I don't know what is going through his head. Maybe he's just thinking outside the box and doesn't want to tell a story using the standard pizza.

Kids.

Teacher- "... Now I want you to write an explanation text of your own. Remember, you need to write 'why' and 'how' things happen or work"

Grade 5 kids start planning.

Gr. 5 student- "Miss, I can't think of a topic"
Teacher- "I'm sure you can think of something"
5 minutes later
Gr. 5 student- "Miss! Can I write "Why people do drugs?" I'm serious"

Personal Favourites.

Makeup and me have only started getting to know each other. I'm still trying to figure out the rules and whatnot when it comes to choosing the correct product for my skin type, purposes of wearing it etc etc. Anyway, I've rediscovered my love for lipstick. I'm not a huge fan of those glossy types because my lips are big enough as it is, I don't need shine to make them bigger. So, I was at priceline today looking at the new Covergirl lipstain range when I took a tester and applied it to my lips. One of the workers stops me and says "Don't do that, just apply it to your skin. It's for your own safety". Uh-oh. Herpes. I totally forgot. I grabbed a few tissues and frantically wiped the lipstain away.
Sigh.
Let's hope that all is fine.

*I know that I'm probably overreacting but hey, you never know. lol.

i've been wearing glasses forever because a) it's easy & b) i've been too lazy to buy more contacts once i finished them last time.
this person did not believe me.
